I don't know how much this blog is going to last. I want to try and take care of her, especially since this whole ordeal will mess her up a lot.

It could be that kitten was embarrased about the flesh-eating story. She had expressed a desire for Nat not to write in the blog anymore, and Nat complied. But since he didn't tell anyone, people started wondering what happened and being all over the place.
It could be that Nat agreed with kitten not to write in the blog anymore but leaving one last entry for the readers to have closure and not ask any questions.
Because honestly, the timing itself is suspicious. He comes back, oh, it turns out kitten didn't want him to write anymore, that's why he was absent,but now he will write anyway. Oh no wait, it turns out she is now in a mental hospital actually. Because some friends told on her. And one thing led to another. Somehow. How did they find the blog again?
Still, sucks if it's true. But it'd still be awesome.

It's actually fairly plausible. Every since the 90's Involuntary commitment has gotten progressively easier to implement. The police (or mental health professional) can initiate the the holding and examination period based solely on the word of a "concerned" person who feels that an individual may be a danger to themselves. This examination and holding period can last up to 72 hours max. During this time the individual is to be examined and diagnosed by certified and trained independent psych specialists. Who may ask a judge to extend the commitment and order involuntary treatment if they feel the need to do so. However the evidence supporting the claim that the individuals needs to be detained must be clear and convincing evidence.
ReplyDeleteIf I may speculate on how the friend discovered the blog I would have to say that they did a reverse image search for kitten in her bunny costume. Which would likely lead them to this blog. I support this idea on two counts. The first is that it would be the most likely way for an outside individual to find the blog. The second would be Nat changing the picture recently.
This then leads us to the friends actions. I see two possible outcomes of what happened. Ever the person found the blog amusing and passed it along a social chain until a "concerned" person discovered it. Or the initial discoverer upon finding the blog called ever the police or kitten's therapist. Which I would say was a bullshit move. The evidence that Kitten was a danger to the physical well being of herself or others is minimal at best in my non-professional opinion. Worst is the fact that her forced stay at the hospital might have the exact opposite effect of the person's intentions. In that Kitten might blame herself for this incident.
Wow, I'm sorry that this happened, bro. Hopefully she'll be all right... :( Just make sure to be there for her as much as you can (though I know you will anyways.)

First this ends on a ominous cliffhanger where it seems like she killed him and ate him. I mean "and that's all for today " and then no response for months, come on pretty damn dramatic and you have to admit seems staged.
Next Kitten was uncomfortable with what he wrote, actually understandable.
Friends somehow realized this was her even though there is no picture of Kitten or Nate, no location and no damning hints of who they are and now Kitten is commited to a asylum, but Nat says "She completely fine" day later the thumbnail is of a anime girl holding a bloody knife...dramatic.
Seems like this was some robot writing about the perfect relationship for him and then caught writers block which is why he says sometimes he'll post on /r9k/, not as much work and he can get his inspiration back.
If I'm wrong I apologize and I know a lot of people are gonna get pissed at me for saying this but you can't blame me for assuming this, I always believed this blog until recently it started getting way to farfetched.

I don't believe that this whole shit is fake, but I really doubt the hospital story is true. They don't have any evidence that any of this blog is based on real stuff, they could have just said that this was all a work of fiction. If it was as easy to lock people up like this, all the people from Marble Hornets and TribeTwelve would be put away.
